This fella was dumped at Second Chance just after 6am on Monday 12th Jan, poor soul ran down the road after the car obviously couldn't keep up, so came back,he has tried to follow a few cars but always returned to where he had been left and lay and waited for his owner to come back for him, sadly this is what dogs do, because they trust us! We know this as Phyllis Carter from Pet Care saw the car and the dog but it was too dark to get a number, Phyllis tried her best to get him to come in out of the cold and damp but to no avail. He was so scared and was barking his head of course we didn't know what kind of temperament he had, so got some chicken and laid a trail into the kennels. Once we got him inside he wagged his tail and was all over us, we think he is an older dog he is thin and has quite a few scars on him and nails that are so long and his pads are so flat not like those of a dog that has had regular exercise.Which is really really sad after all " DOGS DON'T CHOOSE TO LIVE WITH US WE CHOOSE TO HAVE A DOG "
UPDATE 23rd DEC: This is Lonely the dog dumped at the kennels. ! Look at him now he has had so many good wishes and this wee girl and her mum who have two collie's from us brought him a present how nice was that and the other pic is him saying thank you. Good news for Lonely too he has been offered a new home out in the country. He so deserves a good home as by the looks of him he has been through the wars, however good news is we now think he is only about 4 years old x
Thanks for looking, "Lonely"
