The kennels got a phone call on Saturday to say I had been brought in to be put to sleep why ?? because I was thick !!! There were actually none of the really comfy kennels left, so I am outside at the moment and the outside kennels are being refurbished but I do have a roof over my head so won't get wet, and hey I'm alive ! I have an armchair a duvet and lots of blankets to keep me warm, they say the first inside kennel to become vacant has my name on it, because Ena says it doesn't look as though I have been sleeping on the chair or bed At least if I sleep on the floor inside I will still be nice and warm as we all have radiators in our wee rooms. I am a nine month old black & white Border Collie boy and have stolen the hearts of the guys here at Second Chance. I have never had a collar or lead on. I now wear a collar but quite frankly freak out when a lead is attached to it It is going to take time a lot of love and patience for me to accept this.Ena came in and took some photo's of me, I was so scared I couldn't think what she had in her hand, but she spoke softly to me and said it's okay my son, it's only a camera. I am a very submissive wee lad, have no aggression in me at all. I am probably not housetrained either. I'm so praying with time and lots of TLC I can look forward to a much brighter future now.

Update 16th March: The girls have been working slowly with me, ie: attaching a light training leash to my collar and letting me wander around getting the feel of it on my neck and guess what I managed across the fields with Gayle today. We just went a wee bit down the field and back, but they say I will get to go a longer walk tomorrow if I want.

Update:Me and Gayle are having visitors on Thursday

Update 2nd April:
We had our visitors today lovely couple and they liked us and we were really quite good with them. They just need to fix their fence for us.

Update: Well our folks have fixed the fence and can't wait till we join them, all our christmas's have come at once See there are lovely people in this world we just had to let them find us
