Russ

I am a pensioner, had no name when I came here, Frank wanted to name me Rusty because I have a touch of arthritis in my front leg, but this has been shortened to Russ. Definately a contender for the "Waiting for God" side of the kennels, as I am in my golden years.

I am the most handsome tri-colour Border Collie or will be once I have had a bath and brush up! Nature wise, I'm perfect, well everyone here tells me so! Someone has spent a lot of time with me as I'm very obedient / nice natured and just love to play with toys.

What do I dream about when I am lying here dozing, a fireplace with a nice comfy bed / and someone of my very own to love me again.

7th November: I am soooooooooo excited, a lovely lovely lady called about me today and guess what she is maybe going to offer me a home, I don't want to sound toooooooo positive in case it doesn't happen! I would have a lovely large secure garden all to myself. When Mhairi first spoke to the lady, she said I would be on medication for the rest of my life probably, but she is not bothered by this, and when we at the kennels said my vet bills would be taken care of by the kennels, she said why should we pay the bills if she takes me on as her special boy.. I can hardly believe my luck. So Ena & Mhairi are going to take me to see the lady hopefully tomorrow. I'll let you know how I get on, wish me luck!
