Ruby here I am about six months old and looking for a new home, I was quite scared at other dogs / people when I came in, but getting better every day. I am a Lab / Collie mix I think, not all that big.
Do you know what, when I'm lying in my kennel at night with no one to cuddle me, I dream that I am "chosen" and my new family absolutely adore me, and wouldn't care if I didn't get things right straight away, then I wake up and I'm still in the kennels.
