Update on wee Tess, from her family.xx

I'm off to my new home this morning, I nearly ended up in Dunfermline but although wee Alfie is fine with dogs at the kennels he gets jealous if Ena & Frank take another dog home !

I have been " chosen " now for about two weeks but had to wait until I had been spayed, However mum came up with my big " sis and brother " to see me so I wouldn't be too strange when I went home.

Mum was the one who came for me this morning, but she is going to send a "family " photo in when everyone is together. I was looking at the camera then wee Alfie came in with a ball, I love playing with toys now x.

So the rest of my life starts here. Love Tess xx

Hi folks hear are a couple of photo's of me in my new home. Very settled with my big sis who is a chocolate Lab, we get on great together dad says I get her into bother hahaha.Having lots of fun. Love Daisy xx.

Look who came to visit wee !!! Floyd one of the Goldendoodle puppies. He is getting big but such a sweetheart. My brother Zak was also here when I arrived, all we needed was for Brodie our other brother, but he didn't come. Me and Zak had super fun rolling around play fighting, and I emptied the water dish oops, it was good fun though we ended up being really wet, but had such fun. Hopefully we'll meet again. Love Zak xx.

This is me getting ready to set off to my new home by the seaside. My folks just adore me already,Ena says put me in between them both,, but no dad says I was fine where I was haha, and I have a wee pal Shih Tzu called India for a playmate. Life's looking good. Love Sky. xxx

Steve and Penny came for a visit, she looks great and so adores her dad Steve. Lovely to see them x

Wee Max has also found a lovely home, he is such a gentle wee soul, and so deserves the lovely home he has found for his retirement years, like all our residents you too will be missed wee man xxx

Baxter is now in a lovely new home and has a Border Collie girl for his big sis, his mum & dad are so lovely too xThis the photo of him goin home and one his mum sent of him in his new home. Hi it's me wee Teal, getting ready to go home. All the family came to vist me they were all lovely, then we had a home visit done, and my dad came to collect me as mum was working and Children were at the school. I have a wee Jack Russell called Duggie for a playmate, and doing really well. Promises of a family photo soon. Love Teal xx

Well I didn't stay too long, although it's been good fun going over the field for a run with Teal, (who is now also in her new home)

Ena has called a couple of times about me and I had a great night settled in really wel.Have a lovely family and I have a gorgeous chocolate lab for a sis, so we should have great fun together. Love Daisy xxx

What a lovely surprise this afternoon, Tiggs and Willow brought mum Rachel for a visit.It was so nice to see them all, and to see the difference that Willow has made to Tiggs. Anytime Tiggs came before with his mum he would just sit beside her and not move. Today he was so different and it was good to see how settled they are together. xx

Hi Ena,

Sorry that I missed your call yesterday, I hope that you are well.

Rio is great. He is a typical young man. He loves running loose about the field and especially amongst the bushes and trees, recall is very good but I really should do more lead work with him. He is not keen on wet and windy days and sometimes has to be encouraged to come on a walk. When it is dry is would spend all day out and about given half a chance.

He is very enthusiastic and finds fun in everything, he can be a little over excited at times when we get visitors but settles quickly. He loves toys especially ropes but is very hard on them and can destroy a supposedly "tough" toy in a couple of minutes (see attached). He however doesn't chew / damage anything else only his toys.

In the house, while not playing, Rio likes to cuddle up and keep warm, he can often be found stretched out along side our hall radiator but his preference is usually on the settee, on somebody's lap, or just curled up on his own.

I keep meaning to pop in with him for a visit but life has been hectic over the last 3 months with my dad in hospital and son ill.

We love Rio he has real character and is an important member of the family,have attached a photo of him with a new toy, tried to get one of him running free but he never stops long enough.

Well who would believe it, six years ago tomorrow, wee took a wee heavily pregnant girl into the kennels her name was Bonnie, Frank and I left the kennels that night at 9-45. I awoke at 12-45 early next morning and said to Frank I'm going up to the kennels to make sure Bonnie is okay, he said hang on i'm coming too so we got our dogs back in the van and headed off. We arrived to find Bonnie had just given birth to a puppy, so we made her as comfortable as we could and she went on to have her puppies.

Isla was the only golden one she was like a wee fur ball. Hasn't she grown into such a beautiful girl, her folks have always brought her back once or twice a year to see us, they just adore her. Sorry you missed your sausage pet we were just so busy, make up for it next time xxxx

We see your big brother Alfie sometimes too, it's funny you were all so different Alfie looks more like a Shepherd xx
