Mitch (12 yr old Lurcher) Merry (16 yr old Dacshund) Found themselves along with another two dogs, looking for somewhere to call their own after their owner died.We brought them in beside us here at Second Chance and cannot believe how lucky both these two older guys have been to find such a wonderful home together they have gone to stay with Max another wee golden oldie.Thanks to Sandra Cunnea & David Parley xx

Hi Ena,

Saffy is doing fine, she's loving loads of cuddles and at times her and Kirsty are so cuddly they fall asleep cosying in on the sofa. 😂 there's nothing she likes better than just draping herself over you for a cuddle. She has the appetite of a horse and loves a pre morning snack before breakie; brioche! Saff and max sit with their paws up when I'm eating them in the morning. So as can be expected I have very little. Saffy and Max are getting on fine. They have their moments, but these are few and far between and it's usually when the other steals toys! Like children! She's loving her walks at the beach, though we've got to watch for the seaweed. Not crazy on the nighttime walks when it's dark, she's been scared once or twice and wriggled from harness but thankfully ran straight back home. She loves her Kong and loves trying to get her snacks out.She's a smart girl. One day Max was crying to get back in, she jumped up to the patio doors and opened it for Max !! xx

Great to hear they are getting on so well now after their hiccup at the start, thank you all for having the patience till things sorted themselves out. Didn't take long at all. xx

Thanks for this Angela glad to hear Lola is doing do well. Have to say none of the other ones who came in with Lola are good with bigger dogs either. xx

Teal our wee lab x came for a visit today with her " brother " Dougie and her mum.It was so good to see them and how much they are loved.xx

This is our Frankie away to a brilliant new home. Frank keeps saying " your going to run out of good homes " Not happened yet though.

David ( Hago Computers ) and his wife Anne already have a wee Pug so Frankie will have a pal, and all the love in the world. This is all we wish for our residents is for them to be happy xx
