Well Frank and me had a lovely run up to the Highlands today, to a lovely village and the good news was we took two dogs with us to people who have already adopted dogs from us, two lovely couples.who had both relocated to the same place. This is Benji our wee Bichon who has gone to stay with Whisper a lovely lab girl and both dogs got on really well. Sadly Jen and Martin " lost " wee Findlay who they adopted from us a few years ago he was so well loved and I'm sure wee Benji will be as loved.xx

Kizzie >> |
Posted: 6th September 2010
Hi,
Sorry for the delay in sending pics, its been quite a busy time for us!
Kizzie is settling in well, we are getting used to each others strange
little quirky habits!
She is adored by all of the family especially my grandchildren whom she
seems especially fond of probably because they will throw the ball for ages!
She has shown a little bit of a cough but it has really never amounted
to much so I think you caught it early enough.
Other than that things are going fine, her pulling on the lead is
getting to be less of a problem as she gets used to things and now and
then she actually answers to her name being called!!!!!, (I think she
just gets so engrossed in what she is doing that everything else is
secondary!)
We are really happy to have her in our lives as she is such a happy wee
thing and she is so affectionate!
Should you have any other Border Collies in need of a loving home,
please remember us, Kizzie had a great time when she went to meet our
daughters two dogs recently so we might consider a companion for her.
Thank you for all you have done for us and if it's ok, we may bring her
along from time to time to visit?
Ronnie & Sandra McDonald
Hi Ronnie Sandra
Thanks so much for the photo's she looks so so happy with you and look at the shine on her coat, so pleased for you all and of course you must come and visit. x

This is Jed with his lovely new mum and dad and also his sis Sally. He went to his new home yesterday ( thanks to Andrew featuring him in the Extra) we were inundated with calls about him. He has settled in a treat even though he jumped in the pond on his way home from his walk this morning, well he is a Labrador.ha haha.
Thanks Ena
Just to let you know that Sally and Jed are getting on like house on fire as you can see from these pics. Much rough and tumble in the house but no agression at all. We are getting so much pleasure from seeing them play.
thanks

Cody >> |
Posted: 18th August 2010
Was just browsing through the adoption book and came across Cody who we hadn't heard from for a wee while so I gave his folks a call and they kindly sent these photo's.This young man Cody was adopted a year past July and oh boy is he so loved and looking great pics are all good but I love the one with the cat. X x
Hi Ena
Attached some photos of Cody. He has really settled well, having a ball and
a really obedient chap too. My daughter has 2 little ones (children) and he
is so good and patient with them too - loves hem being here andif the
smallest one (3) has his lead on a walk, he won't pull at all. Most of his
walks are off the lead now - only if other dogs are in the vacinity do we
lead him. There are a couple of dogs who he plays with in the park too if
they are out at the same time. He is a great lad and so loving.
He was neutered in January so is a polite lad too.
I will send another couple of emails with more photos for you.
Thanks again
Marlene (Mom)

Posted: 18th August 2010
This is Red ( was Poppy ) she was one that never reached the web site, Red is the most gorgeous Border Collie puppy. She has gone to stay with another two of our dogs Chad Border Collie & and Sabe the Shepherd. They also have another shepherd and another three collies. Kate and Wilson take their dogs everywhere and do agility with them so she has landed on all four paws. Not that I stage managed her to go to this home.Ha ha ha haha xxxxxxxx
Well was I a popular girl or what at Dundee, people were so glad to see me and were so happy I had a home. As I said I stayed out of the cage in the caravan and because that was a success we tried leaving me out in the house last night and I was great, slept all night and woke mum at 6.30 for a peepee, had my breakfast and went back to bed and slept till 8.I sit nice for my dinner with the others and don’t have any of that snapping I used to do if anyone goes near my food.I am fair settled in my new home the piggy ear at seven every night helps and I cant wait to try this agility stuff I was enjoying watching the other doing it but dad says I need to wait a wee while till my bone grow before I can try it so I am eating everything up so that I can grow big and strong quicker
Lots of Love
Red
