Our Dogs

Since it opened in 1999, over 8000 dogs / puppies have passed through the kennels doors, and each one holds a special place in our hearts, each special in his/her own way. We are committed to caring for every dog that comes to the kennels, giving them the best of care and attention while they are here, and making sure they are rehomed to only the best of homes. You can see all the dogs currently looking for homes in our Homeless Hounds section. If you are interested in rehoming one of the dogs, you can contact us to arrange a visit to the kennels. Once you have met your potential pooch, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, so that we can assess if your home would be suitable for the dog in question. We assess each dog individually, and each have their own needs from a forever home. If all goes well, we will then arrange a home visit where we will check over you garden which has to be your own and not a communal one to make sure it's safe from burrowing and jumping! We don't home to high rise flats or to anyone with children under five. As a charity, we rely solely on donations to keep the kennels up and running. We therefore must ask for a donation if you rehome a dog from us. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, deflead and neutered (when possible) on arrival at the kennels. You can also see some of the dogs that are now in their forever homes in our gallery section.
