Piper

Hi I have been given the name Piper, I am a Whippet mix, very very gentle, but have been running loose for at least two weeks.

When I was first spotted I was limping but I was too frightened to let anyone near me, but yesterday I went into a park and someone shut the gate behind me, so I couldn't escape, there was a lovely lad and his mum who left food out for me, then they phoned the kennels and Janet & Ena came for me, but I really did not want caught and I was whimpering.

Janet let Stella her dog in beside me, but I was too scared, and tried to jump a wall, but my sore leg stopped me and I fell back, so I thought I have had enough and just walked up to Craig and let him put the lead on me, everyone was so upset but glad that I was now safe, I just jumped in the back of Janet's car lay down and went to sleep, they said something about me being a wee angel.

If I had known that I was going to be this spoiled I would have let then catch me first time instead of being out in the cold and rain.I have a lot of bite marks on me, so the vet is coming out to see me.

Update 19th April: I am so excited a man called the kennels and says he thinks he's my dad, seems he went away and left me with a friend who I escaped from. He is so pleased he thought he would never see me again or me him i might add, he can't come for till Friday or Saturday, but I can let them pamper me here till then!
