Shadow

Sarah took me to the vets today for a check up and they were pleased with me and I am slowly putting weight on. Only one more sleep and then Ena & Frank are taking me to my new home. ( Ian from Kingdom FM has already done the home visit thanks for that ) I know everyone at the kennels will miss me and my smiles, but they are also so very happy I have found a forever home with such a special lady. My mum came back to see me today, I really recognise her now and love all the cuddles she gives me, she says after what i've been through I deserve all the cuddles I can get, and she brought my favourie treat sausages !! Love Shadow xx

Our Shadow is doing very well, getting better every day. Uncle Ian is being a very busy lad ( thanks very much) He is going to do a home visit for me, my new mum to be has been coming to visit me lots. Love Shadow xx

This poor boy was handed into Second Chance after being found abandoned in woods, during the heat wave we have just had !! He is in a right sorry state and was so dehydrated and hunrgy when he arrived, we put a wee drop food down for him and he just about inhaled the food .We have had him at the vets and he is having treatment for his skin, which is going to take a long time to heal. Saddest thing of all is he is so very trusting ans friendly and wagged his tail and gave us a wee smile when we met him.

Makes us so angry that someone could do this to any animal never mind our gentle Shadow !!!

He is such a sweet gentle dog and being a Collie loves a tennis ball. This is him doing what he does best here resting as we don't know how long ago he was abandoned.

Good news he is safe and has a home here for ever if need be xx
