Brodie ( was Marley ) >>

Brodie and his folks came today, it was so good to see them, Brodie looks so fantastic, actually if he didn't have the white bit on his chest he would pass for a Flat Coat Retriever. He is gorgeous and had great fun with our Polly xx

He's well & truly got me wrapped round his little paws and i wouldn't have it any other way, we just couldn't imagine not having him in our lives now,
Keep up the good work

Rudy who was tied to our gate !! >>
Posted: 13th March 2012

Attached some photos of my progress. Send help as soon as you can! Only kidding. I am getting on great. Have been to the vets for my jags and have put on weight although I have also lost a couple of stones!! Mind you Hector said he never missed them and he seems like a pretty cool guy so I'll take his word. Loca has been quite friendly too although she doesn't play as much as Hec and I. Some misunderstandings between me and the little furry creature that lives here are being ironed out. I mean they tell me I can chase furry things down the woods every day until my little heart is content and then tell me I can't chase furry things in the house or garden. (I think it's called a cat). I am learning though and am starting to tell the difference. Occasionaly chase deer in the woods also but haven't caught any yet. I m getting really good at coming back when I am called so hardly ever need to be on the lead. Going to Helmsdale next week my holidays so Anita says we will see how I deal with sheep, whatever they are! Have decided I don't like swimming after chasing Hector into the pond. I love paddling though or sitting in puddles to cool down after all my running around as you can see. All in all, I think I'll stay a bit longer and see how it goes. Any word from Kira or Blackie?
Lots of love. Thanks for everything.
Dermutt. X
Dermutt lovely to see the pics and you all look so happy. Knew Anita and Peter and the boys were just the ideal home for you. Kerry and Blackie are also doing well. I added a pic of you when you were at the kennels just to fill in the empty space Love from everyone here xx

Milo in his new home. >>
Posted: 7th March 2012

Gwen so good to see him so settled x

Afternoon, Ena,

Just a quick line to let you know that we are all settling in to life together. Milo is such a gorgeous wee chap, and is gradually relaxing into life with us. I don't think that there are many corners in the house that he's not had his nose in and the garden seems to be an endless source of smells and noises! He is also very taken by what I call 'doggie TV' - he sits upstairs, on the bed, and watches the birds flying past the windows. Some get a woof, but mainly he just seems fascinated!

We've had some great walks already - he's met other dogs, children, cyclists & donkeys all without a fuss. We even visited family and met one of their cats in the garden - neither party got too close, but at the same time no-one got upset. He's coped with wee spells alone in the house and also been over at work for a wee while too. It sounds as if we've thrown a lot at him, but it's all been day by day and he's taken it all in his stride.

He had a bit of an upset tummy for a few days, but that's all settled and it certainly didn't put him off his food. He has a good appetite. There is only one thing that he can't get enough of and that's cuddles. What a boy! He gets a little upset when I go out but settles down quickly. It will take a while for him to realise that he really is stuck with us. I keep telling him that we will ALWAYS come back - whether he likes it or not!

Yesterday, I was out cleaning the car and at the first opportunity he was in it - and just sat inside and watched me work away! If the car was going somewhere, he wanted to be in it. Frank and him have been out and about and enjoying each others company.

I can't believe it's only just two weeks since he came into our lives!

I'll send more pics when I can,

Gwen

Posted: 6th March 2012

Hi Ena
Here are some photos of Bruno.
Andrew.

Bruno (Lonely) was abandoned outside the kennels last year before Christmas. He now has a great new home and it is great to see the pics of him.
Zeb the other dog in the pics was also found abandoned in Fife but just look at then both now x

Andrew he is looking so good we hardly recognised him and what a happy boy, Zeb is looking great as well so pleased they get on so well, I know they didn't at first, just goes to show what love and patience can do. xx

Must find a pic of when we found him lying waiting for the person who left him that cold frosty morning !Found this one with Abbi when she brought him a xmas present x

A lady sent me this e-mail just thought I would share it with you !!
