Update on Lucy thank you so much for this. xx

Hi Ena, sorry i missed your call, she is being a super girl pleanty of walks 7 in the garden on the leas. had her supper with Bramble & all great.

At last finally decided this should be my new home. A lady had called about me and her story was quite sad. She and her husband have Bramble who is a blind Labradoodle boy, whose pal has sadly gone to Rainbow Bridge, and Bramble has been feeling very lost without his pal.So they came to visit yesterday, and me and him had great fun, the fact that i'm blind doesnt matter.( Ena says I remind her of how Blue our Border Collie pup was, no one would ever believe he was blind either) mum says I slept all night, I was so tired. So they came back again today to visit and we had great fun. I think we might be tired again tonight our folks will be hoping so anyway. We get on so very well together so looks like Bramble has a best pal again. This me mum / dad and Bramble. lots of love Lucy xxx.

Ps; I would like to thank the dozens of people who have been in touch offering me a home. Love Lucy xx.

This is Chad, he's such a lovely boy.

We first met his folks when they adopted Sabe our 4 month old German Shepherd a few years ago now, then they came back to visit with him and Chad was here, he couldn't be rehomed with children !! Well Wilson has worked so well with him he is now great around children. No it doesn't stop there !! Then it was Red's turn ( she has just won gold in agility) Then it was wee Brett's turn he broke the mold he's a Patterdale !! Last but by no means least they kinda adopted Star another Border Collie pup, another wee Second Chancer. They also have Faith, Kai and old Buzz he's lovely as are they .all.Not forgetting Axel A credit to Kate and Wilson.

Haven't seen them for a while mmmmmm wonder why !!!

Update from Bruno xx

Thanks for the update so pleased he has settled so very well xx.

Hi aunty ena and uncle frank. Bruno here. Just a quick update on how I am getting on in my new home with Rena and Elizabeth. I am having a lovely time time here. We have a cat called Giblet and a fish called Pablo. I have three beds in my new house and I can sleep in any one I want, as you know, I am fond of a little nap!!!! Sometimes me and Giblet even sleep in the same bed. The food here is great too, i love my scrambled eggs in the morning for breakfast and i even tried pasta and cheese sauce last night. There is a squirrel in our garden, but I haven’t managed to get close to him yet. In the evening after my little walk we all sit on the sofa and watch tv before bedtime, i like watching animal planet. I have to go back to the vet on friday as i have a sore tooth, but joanne the vet is really nice and she gave me some medicine for it and it’s getting better. my ears and eyes are much better too, and i am a happy little boy. I am so glad you let me go to my new home, the girls really love me and so do all their friends who call me cute!!! Elizabeth has some photos she is going to send you as Rena is not very good with the computer. i had to show her how to do this!!! Lots of love to you and all the other dogs you are looking after. Bye for now,

Bruno. xxxxxxx

Very happy ending for wee Bruno he now has a new loving home, we are all so very happy for him and so grateul to Rena and Elizabeth for taking him into their home and hearts.

He is going to need lots of TLC which I'm sure he will get in abundance. He is now safe to live out the rest of his life in comfort surrounded by love.

We would like to thank the couple who found him and took the time to make sure he was safe after finding him in such a state.

First photo when I was handed in to the kennels, then one two or three days later, then a couple of me getting ready to go, I feel so so much better now. x My doting new family taking me home xx

This is what I really like about Second Chance, you just never know who's going to pop in for a visit. Today it was Yana, who was one of our Rottie pups she was adopted by Sandra and her family when she was 8 weeks old, now she's nearly two.. As you can see she is absolutely gorgeous and has such a lovely nature, brilliant with the children and their other Rottie girl. xx

Willow (was Daisy) and Tigger. >>
Posted: 16th October 2013

Hi everyone at Second Chance, at last I have a photo to send of Willow (aka Daisy). She has settled in soooo well, as you can see she and Tig are best buddies. They spend a lot of time racing round the garden together tearing up the grass, they ate all the apples off my tree, tried the tomatoes in the greenhouse but they weren't to their taste, now they are picking the fruit off my kiwi type bush, all non poisonous to dogs. Thank goodness our pear tree fell down 2 years ago or they would have been eating them too and they are poisonous to dogs as I found out with my old doggy Jake ( he came out in a terrible rash all over and itched uncontrollably) So Willow and Tig are having a grand time together and now sleeping in the living room together at night, thank goodness! I can't thank you enough Ena and Frank for giving us our two wonderful dogs, they may be eating us out of house and home and we had to re-fence practically all of the garden, but we love them both so much and look forward to many years of doggy happiness. Will be calling in soon with another collecting box.
Love to all, Rachel, Tigger and Willow
Hi Rachel just got this just now, so funny sitting here on my own laughing at them, it's brilliant she has settled so well, what is she like using her brother Tiggs as a cushion. Thanks for the update xx.

Update on the lovely Tia. >>
Posted: 16th October 2013

Hi Ena,
Charlie here, the pic's of Tia the day we got her at 6 weeks then one of you when we came back to see you a few months later then one of her now at 10 years old. You will see she is very grey as she has a skin problem and have to give her steroids and that made her go grey at about 3yr old. She means so much to me after helping me through a bad time after an accident and losing power down my left hand side and not worked for 11/12years and won't again so go a tattoo of her on my shoulder. Glad to see you are still going strong and helping all these poor dogs.
Take Care
Charlie Eagleton

What a differnce a day makes. So happy for you Ben. Love the scenery xx
Hiya Ena and Frank
I've had a busy time since I left you yesterday. Mum and Dad said I'm a wee star as I slept right through the night without a sound and ate all my dinner and breakfast!
Tommy, Jenny and cousin Cassie visited today and we had great fun times at the beach and the old Inverlochy castle. I even got off the lead as Cassie was teaching me to come back when I'm called and everyone said I did great!
I'm sending you 6 photos that managed to get taken with the phone camera without spooking me too much! Sending them one at a time.
Hope you like this one in my house with Cassie playing tug of war!! :)
I'll keep you posted!
Lots of love, licks and sniffs
Ben xxxxx
Ben ( had your name changed as your mum & dad's beloved collie who they sadly " lost" 2 years ago was called Glen )but you don't mind eh! as you now have a wonderful home and a Second Chance girlie Cassie as your cousin, how good is that xxx
Wondered how you had two lovely photo's taken Glen, so the phone camera is the way to go.
Hope Jenny / Tom and Cassie enjoyed their visit with you.xx
