This is our wee Mishca with her lovely new family who are just so excited to have her with them.

Like Buttons this wee one has had so many offers of homes, we like to think we have chosen the best homes for these wee dogs, and are sorry that so many people have been disapointed but so glad these two now have wonderful loving homes.

Tess (was Buttons) >>
Posted: 4th April 2010

Sending a couple of E-mails with an update on wee Buttons now Tess we are all so delighted and happy for her and her new family.

Tess had her first couple of hours at work with her mum and dad yesterday and was adored by everyone. Then Kizzy her big sister took her and her brothers to the beach , which Tess loved to bits. She even had a teeny weeny paddle .Kizzy was exhausted running with her to keep up with the boys. She had fish for her tea and is just the most lovable wee thing ever.Very happy Lindsays Anstruther xx

OMG Ena , Tess has stated to run for the ball and retrieve it dropping it at our feet waiting for the next game in the garden . Beau and Jet are running too and she is so confident and we cannot believe her . She is a miracle .She lifts her front 2 legs to get up and get a cuddle as well .
Our Easter couldn,t be happier xx

Bobby came for a visit today his folks are looking for another wee dog, butit has to be one that this wee lad will get on with. I was asking his mum how old he was now , she said nearly twelve which means he was adopted about ten years ago !! He was a wee monkey to start with but they worked through things and now have a brilliant wee dog. He looks nothing like twelve I have to say, but it was lovely to see them all. x

Well it was a sad day today at the kennels, but in a good way Brooke has gone to her new home. She has gone to stay with a lovely family who already have two older dogs Brooke has met them and got on fine with them. Hopefully they will bring her out of her shell a bit and she will learn how to play. We will miss you Brooke especially Frank who really wanted you to come home with us, but wee Sandy decreed otherwise.xx

Posted: 21st March 2010

Look at how things have worked out for me wee Bonnie !! I was taken to the vets to be euthanised, lucky for me they phoned Second Chance, where I have had a great time with everyone and now look at me all ready to go to my new home with Harry the Wheaten Terrier who was adopted from here not so long ago.
His folks saw me on the web site and have travelled quite a long way to introduce Harry and me.Good news is we got on like a house on fire, so tonight I will be in my new home in the country.Only sad thing is I have had to leave my pal Disney but she is such a super dog it won't be long hopefully before someone takes her home. I heard Mum say she might change my name to Sally how cool ie: when Harry met Sally. Lots of love Bonnie xx

Update from my new family:

We decided to keep the name Bonnie as she does know it and responds well. She is easy to train to do things. She also has herding instincts as she was trying to herd our two horses, who just looked at her witheringly!!! Absolutely no aggression, and we do not know how anyone could think that there might be. She is so gentle and loving.

This is wee Candy with her new mum & dad who are over the moon at having her join their family, it has been a very hard decision to decide who Candy should be rehomed with as there have been so so many people offering her a home. After much deliberation we have decided on this lovely couple whose mum already has a Second Chance dog.

To Ruth & Kevin,

What brilliant photo's love the muddy one., so pleaded she has settled in so well. your right she has blossomed into a beauty, thanks for giving her such a brilliant home x

Hi Ena,

Just wanted to give you an update on Noushka. I cannot tell you how much joy she has brought us. She has turned into the most affectionate, joyful girl you could ever meet. With work she has become very content in our home and at her happiest when she is out on her daily walks (we walk miles with her every day)meeting her gang of canine pals, running herself to a standstill. She is drawn like a magnet to mud, lying down in it to achieve maximum coverage and we always come back from walks filthy but happy (I have included a picture). She is the most beautiful looking dog, her coat has changed quite a lot in the time we have had her, she now has a lot of gold on her head fading into the grey saddle on her back. We are stopped almost every day by people wanting to meet her, some people even turning back in their car to ask about her. I have included pictures but none do her justice.
Her training is coming on well, she walks well on the lead, can safely be let off the lead in a safe field or forest walk with very good recall, she greets people and other dogs much more calmly and always with affection. In short she is an absolute diamond and we are very grateful that our paths crossed and we were able to have her join our family. My husband is as besotted as I am and we find it difficult to pass by her bed without crouching down for a cuddle with her, she is so gentle. Many thanks for allowing us to take her home. We hope to get back to see you soon but she still gets car sick so we have to work on that a bit more.

Take care and thanks again

Ruth, Kevin and Noushka xxx
