Happy Hounds

Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

Diesel >> Posted: 10th October 2011 Hi Ena Hope this finds you well!! Im sorry its taken so long but Diesel has been keeping us very busy. Lots of long walks. He has settled in fantastically and cant imagine being without him!! Talk about bringing the house alive!! Bailey >> Posted: 9th October 2011 Well Bailey you didn't stay here very long at all, and so many people inquiring about you and offering you a home. Your folks were here in the reception when some of the calls were coming in for you. They were so pleased they called on Friday and arrived Sat morning to see you. You immediately went to your " dad " and gave him a paw as if to say please adopt me and they did. Ena & Frank did home visit all went well so here I am, in a lovely home. Mac >> Posted: 6th October 2011 Hello everyone, just a quick e-mail to let you all know I am doing fine. It's almost six months now since I adopted my new folks and my Mum & Dad (Shona & David) get plenty of exercise taking me for walks. I think I have licked them in to shape!! I love my new home and they all take very good care of me. We are just back from a lovely weekend in Aviemore and I have attached a phot of me with my Mum, Dad and three brothers after we all went canoeing in Loch Morlich. Don't worry I stayed on the shore with Gran! I also help around the house a lot, so there is a photo of me helping Mum clean around the Dining Room!! Take care and I will pop in to see you all soon. Scout & Jasper >> Posted: 6th October 2011 Dear Ena i am hoping this is still your email address. I wanted to update you on Jasper and scout. We made a big move from Aberdeen last year all the way to Norfolk. We stay on a lovely farm with loads of land and plenty of walks. Both Scout and Jasper are very settled and happy. Jasper is going to agility but I am afraid we have been demoted to beginners because of his passion for doing the course alone. If all we had to do was see-saws, tunnels and bridges then jazzy would be in an elite class. He is very intelligent and can do everything else but choses to be a high flyer and stand and survey the world from the A frame. So back to beginners to get him to slow down. Scout is getting to be a wee old man in his later years but very content despite another bout of illness this year. I do not think we can believe our luck with the weather here. We have spent the last week in 30 degree temps which has meant investing in a fan to keep Scout cool. Was so glad that mum and dad could adopt Pepper. Loved the photo of them all with Eddie who looked chuffed to bits! She will have a great life! Attached photos of the boys when they were staying with a friend recently when I was on holiday.
