Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

This wee lad came in this morning and is now in his new home, to say his " Mum " is estatic about him joining her family is an understatement. This is him with his new sister's Miss Elizabeth another wee Chihuahua and Bunty the wee Yorkie, both Second Chance dogs.So another wee guy set for life x.

To Ruth & Kevin,

What brilliant photo's love the muddy one., so pleaded she has settled in so well. your right she has blossomed into a beauty, thanks for giving her such a brilliant home x

Hi Ena,

Just wanted to give you an update on Noushka. I cannot tell you how much joy she has brought us. She has turned into the most affectionate, joyful girl you could ever meet. With work she has become very content in our home and at her happiest when she is out on her daily walks (we walk miles with her every day)meeting her gang of canine pals, running herself to a standstill. She is drawn like a magnet to mud, lying down in it to achieve maximum coverage and we always come back from walks filthy but happy (I have included a picture). She is the most beautiful looking dog, her coat has changed quite a lot in the time we have had her, she now has a lot of gold on her head fading into the grey saddle on her back. We are stopped almost every day by people wanting to meet her, some people even turning back in their car to ask about her. I have included pictures but none do her justice.
Her training is coming on well, she walks well on the lead, can safely be let off the lead in a safe field or forest walk with very good recall, she greets people and other dogs much more calmly and always with affection. In short she is an absolute diamond and we are very grateful that our paths crossed and we were able to have her join our family. My husband is as besotted as I am and we find it difficult to pass by her bed without crouching down for a cuddle with her, she is so gentle. Many thanks for allowing us to take her home. We hope to get back to see you soon but she still gets car sick so we have to work on that a bit more.

Take care and thanks again

Ruth, Kevin and Noushka xxx

At last Ian has his much cherished wee girl, who thanks to Hob Nob's Mum and Dad is staying with them and having a great time until Ian comes back from holiday.
He was going to wait until he came back before thinking about a wee dog but he just happened to be at the kennels when Roxy came in and they just clicked. She went to work with him and lay and slept under his desk whilst he was on air, he really hopes that is not what people do while he and Diane are on the Kingdom Fm breakfast show.I am sure they don't Ian.
