This is our third Rottie puppy getting ready to go home. She like the rest of the puppies is going to people who know the breed. We will keep in touch and will be able to watch them grow up, which is good. For now she is going to be loved to bits. I'm told her " dad " has not stopped smiling since he saw her on Saturday xxx

Nicky has a new home ! >>
Posted: 26th February 2012

Well this is our wee darling Nicky the Jack Russell, heading off to her new home in the country. Everyone is so happy she has found such a lovely family to spend her retirement years with. She loved the toy box and as soon as she got out of her pen she used to run up to it front paws up on the box asking for a hand in, there she would go looking for all the squeaky toys. You would never guess she was 12 years old.
This is Morag / Ian with their sons Anthony and Alexander two lovely young lads, I think they will have fun with Nicky as she loves playing with toys xx

Rosie & Chloe >>
Posted: 22nd February 2012

Hi Heather, thank you so much for the update on the girls they certainly seem to be enjoying life with you xx

Hi Ena and Frank

Hope that you are both well.

So glad you've found a boy for Gwen!! I'm looking forward to meeting him have seen all the photos.

The girls are doing great, getting to know their personalities now.......................Rosie likes lots of cuddles and steals Chloe's toys, treats etc at every opportunity, which is normally followed by Chloe having a wee bark at me as if to say 'tell her to give them back please!!"

Chloe and Ollie (the cat) are partners in crime they both pounce on Rosie (in play), often found cosied up together sleeping (usually in my bed!!).

They are enjoying walks down to the river most morning and we have been going into walk around the North Inch (because there's lights!) every other night...........they are fantastic in the car and have been to visit my mum (who treated them like they were new grandchildren).

I'm not brining them to work every day as I had lots of meetings but my neighbour and her daughter go in and let them out and watch tv with them ............they have a great many fans you understand!!

Will send a few more photo's in another e-mail for you.

Come visit any time you like we'd all love to see you both.

Holly a very Happy Hound (at last) >>
Posted: 20th February 2012

Well Holly you have certainly landed on all four Paws with Judy & David, for a wee dog who was posted on Gum Tree originally , you did find a family to love you but sadly the wee lad was allergic, they brought you here. Now you will never ever have to find somewhere else to lay your head you have it made sweetheart so pleased for you xx

Hi Frank & Ena.

Here's the latest news on Holly.

She has settled in really well, I think she really feels this is home now. She is extremely well behaved and seems very happy, we love her to bits. We now let her off the lead anywhere without traffic. A particular favourite is the big park in Cupar where she chases a ball, she can't get enough of that. At home she plays with toys indoors, she is very particular about which toy to play with, each time she will select the one she wants from the pile, usually the noisiest is the one, but not always. She gets lots of walks, usually 6 or 7 a day, either of us putting on a coat causes great excitement, though she recognises my workiing uniform and knows it doesn't mean walkies. She also understands that "Shopping" means no walkies either.

She had her first real encounter with sheep yesterday, I took her up West Lomond and we found them all over the hills and on the track, she walked to heel (off the lead) straight through them with no more than a wistfull glance. On the return she obviously understood they had to be left alone so she paid them no notice at all. She loves charging up & down the steepest hills, and loves the howling wind on top even more.

Today we went to the beach at St Andrews, she has been there a couple of times before and loves that even more than the park, presumably because the ball travels further so takes more chasing.

We still look at who's coming and going, it's always nice to read about them finding new homes.

David & Judy.

Roxy Sinclair ( was Ruby here) >>
Posted: 20th February 2012

Hi Folks thanks for the pics, what a difference in a wee dog she looks fab !! All the photo's are good but I like the one with the cat xx.

Hello Ena & Frank,
Hope you are both well. & all is going great at the kennels.
I thought you might like to see some pics of Roxy, she is doing so well & has settled no problem at all, she love's the hay field I take her too behind the house & when John's off we take her to the beach you'll see from the pics she loves the water. Roxy has made progress with Tilly & Tigger the cats which is lovely to see them nose rubbing, Roxy's bed is either one of the 2 new couches or when Dad is at work she's in beside Mum (me). Roxy loves learning new tricks like High 5, roll over fetch & leave.
Well John is still talking of a playmate for Roxy & I'm sure he'll get his own way but we are going on our 1st ever holiday in May without kids or friends, we have our eldest Nicole & her boyfriend looking after Roxy & in laws to walk her when Nicole is working so I really don't want to leave 2 dogs. I'm dreading missing Roxy when we're away as it is.
Hope to see you again soon take care
Diana, John & Roxy x

Tess / Sam / Jack >>
Posted: 20th February 2012

Jim was in touch yesterday about these guys.First Tess joined their family then Sam and then wee Jack, all have a brilliant home.
Sadly Tess isn't keeping to well, we are all thinking of her and her family, just hope you have her for a long time yet Jim I know how attached you are to her especially xx

Tess is the black lab / Sam golden lab and wee Jack of course.

We hope she has some more good days ahead. She was and is the most scared dog in the world and I hope we have given her a loving home where she has had peace and contentment. She sleeps with me every night and isn't happy unless she is is tucked up beside me. The boys are well and you wouldn't believe how big and soft Sam is or how good Jack has become.
