Hi Maureen & Geoff,

Ho nice to see your girls who you adopted from us The two wee Yorkie's on the right of the pic. helping to raise funds for other animals in need.xxxx

Hi Ena, Frank and all The Magic Team
We thought you might be interested in the attached press cutting which is proof we have decided that The Dynamic Duo, Polly & Tilly, should help to earn their keep. Unfortunately they are a couple of little Divas when it comes to strangers photographing them and they only allow their best sides to be seen which as you will see is their backsides!
We hope you are all well and things are not too stressful if like us you are seeing more and more little four-foots coming through the doors looking for homes during these hard times.
Best regards to all
Maureen, Geoff plus a special lick and woof from Polly & Tilly

Hello Everyone,

it's been a wee while since I popped in to see you but I thought I would let you all know I am doing just fine. That is over a year since I adopted my new folks, Shona & David, and I am having a ball. I have attached a couple of photographs of me in my back garden when the sun actually shone and we had blue skies. Must have been a while ago!

Hope everyone is well and I will pop in to see you soon.

Posted: 3rd July 2012

Hello Ena,
Hope you Frank and all the gang are keeping well. I thought you would like a few photos of Siren just to let you see how he is coming on. As you will notice he is very much at home and enjoys a nice soak in the tub after a long walk and also enjoys a wee read of the paper. He is one handsome puppy very much admired by all and a fantastic edition to the family he gets on great with all the kids although he doesn't realise he is a bit heavier than them, at the moment he weighs in at 37.25kilos and still growing
Wee Chester is doing well and still manages to tell Siren off when he cant be bothered with him although he does have to watch out for those big paws.
all the best

Hi Ena and Frank

Hope everyone is well at Second Chance Kennels.

I have sent a couple of photos - one of me in my garden and one in my compound down at Dad's work.

I am getting on fine - my tail wags nearly all the time now. I don't bark at the tv so much now and don't freak out every time a bag rustles!!!! I'm still not too happy around other people yet - I'm happiest when I'm at home with the rest of my pack. Mum and Dad don't go anywhere without me - I make sure of that!!!

It's been quite warm some days so I just chill out in my compound and cool my paws down in the drinking bowl!!. The nice people who Dad works for have asked a company who make sheds to make me a super duper kennel -so I'm looking forward to that arriving. The lorry drivers all come and talk to me and bring me a biscuit. I let them give me the biscuit then frighten them with my big bark!!! Lol.

Mum and Dad are going to bring me up for a visit soon so you can see how I've grown and I'm not skinny anymore!

Look forward to seeing you.

Love Star xxx

Hello Ena, Frank and everyone at Second Chance,

Just a few of pics of our boy, one is him waiting for Erin coming in from school (I swear he can tell the time), one sitting with Gordon on the couch having one of his chews, one is him getting his teeth brushed which he loves and last one is him lying in OUR bed having a lazy Sunday morning! ! He is a great dog, loves his walks and nothing more than lying along the back of the couch watching the world go by. He's very protective of the children especially if they walk too far ahead of us he rounds them up! We will always be grateful that you let us give him a home. We will be up at the end of the month with some goodies and we'll bring him with us. I am trying to persuade Gordon to let him have a wee playmate...maybe you can work on him too haha.

Kind Regards

Jacqui Marshall & family

p.s. sorry for the pics I've got so many of him!

Hi Folks its hard to believe Bailey is 13yrs now, must be the young lady in his life, so pleased you adopted Suki as well they both look happy and well settled xx

Hello Ena, Frank and all at Second Chance,

Just a few picks of our two. Both are very well and Bailey simply doesn't believe he is nearly 13! Bounces up and down like a puppy when going for his walks.
Suki has lots of young friends, she seem to love puppies of all shapes and sizes, including a retriever who is now a very large puppy but still her best pal

All the best to you all

Hi, from being tied up to the gate at the kennels, he now looks amazing and clearly loves his home comforts xx

Here I am relaxing after a long walk up the hills in Helmsdale on my recent holiday and again curled up in my favourite position on the couch at home. I get on great with Hector and Loca and spend much of my day playing or sleeping in the garden or garage. Mum and Dad and the rest of the family say I am great. we have ironed out the problems with the cat thing and every other cat for that matter. I come back when called and hardly ever need a lead. I'm a very happy puppy.

Lots of love
Dermutt.

From: ruth kelly
Hi Folks, thsnk you so much for the update, she is certainly enjoying life with you. \she looks amazing xx

Hi Ena and Frank,

I hope you are all well, I follow your hard work at the kennels through the website and am always amazed at how many wee dogs you are able to put in wonderful homes. I thought you might like to see Noushka as she accompanied me over the line as I finished the Edinburgh Marathon a couple of weeks ago. She was not allowed to run it with me but Kevin sneaked her on for the last hundred meters and she got a great cheer. The announcer said "And here is the first dog to cross the line!" I wasn't pleased as I thought I looked alright for running 26.2miles! Noushka continues to be the apple of our eyes and a great member of our family. She runs with me on all my training runs, keeping me safe on the dark winter nights and thinks nothing of trotting out 18miles. I am getting her a wee backpack to wear as I have to carry water for her and me and it gets heavy after a while so now she can carry her own.
Keep up the great work that you do, it is good to know that there is somewhere like Second Chance looking out for the wee dogs not so lucky first time round.
Lots of love from Ruth, Kevin and Noushka xxx
