Blaze >>
Posted: 2nd August 2012

Blaze came home to his family on 19/07/12. He has been a wee treasure - clean and obedient almost from the start. His doggy 'sister' Suzy has been helping him to settle. He is now enjoying off lead exercise on the beach and in the park, and he loves the garden - he is keen to 'help' with the digging! We all love him to bits!
Best wishes
Margaret and Bill Galbraith

Hi Margaret & Bill couldn't have asked for a better home "our" Blaze and he certainly looks well settled xxx

Wee Bobby >>
Posted: 1st August 2012

Isn't she gorgeous, she has been in her home for a few years now, and it wasn't all plain sailing at the start with her, thank goodness for Davina & Mike who didn't give up on her !!
Bobby's folks have been very supportive of the kennels, so it was no surprise to hear she did a sponsored rowing machine ride from John O'Groats to Landsend, well nearly, before hurting her arm 24 miles before the end !!
Thank you very much Davina and to everyone who sponsored her the sum of £90-00 was raised well done xx. Hope your arm is ok now.

Really sorry I missed you guys Bobby looks great xxx

Tina & Pablo >>
Posted: 25th July 2012

Hi thanks so much for the update on these two wee darlings, they look so well settled and obviously still devoted to each other.xx

Hi Ena
We thought you would like to see how Tina and Pablo are doing - and to let you know we have moved from Duns to Coldstream. We now have our own home based business ( http://www.mesmerick.co.uk/ ) so we are at home with them full time. They spend the time trotting in and out to lie in the sunshine (when we get any!). They both love the beach and we have been away in the motorhome with them up to Sutherland and Caithness where they had a ball.

As you can see they are still devoted to each other and the teddy bear they came with !

Hope you are doing well at Second Chance Kennels.

Lots of love from a very contented Tina and Pablo and of course from us, Rick and Euan

Hi again sorry I missed you all Harvey looks amazing who would think he is 17 !! Thank you so much for bring him to visit and of course for the food xx.

Hi
We were in on Thursday afternoon to hand in some dog food and bring our wee Yorkie/Cairn terrier Harvey back for a visit. We had our photo taken but didn't get a chance to say much about Harvey. We got him from Second Chance in 2001 when he was 6 which means he is now 17 and still going strong. Harvey is energetic and playful, and is great with our 3 cats. He has been a great pet and is much admired wherever we go. thanks Second Chance!
Love from the Robinsons x

Pam so pleased she is doing so well, she looks really happy and thanks for keeping us updated on her. xx

Hello everybody, hope everything is ok and you haven't been flooded or anything like that, few more pictures for you.
I've got Jem into a puppy training class and she is coming on leaps and bounds, she was so scared of people and dogs she didn't know, especially if she came accross then "suddenly" so we had a quiet word with the vet,s nurse who is lovely and she told us about the classes so she has been there for about 4/5weeks.
She is also doing agility!!!!!It's hilarious because she can't get over the jumps, they put them down to the lowest level and she gets over them that way, either that or she just runs underneath them. Then there's me, crawling through a blue plastic tunnel trying to get her to come after me, that has to be an eye opening sight!!!!

Bye Pam

Hi Ena & Frank

It has been just over a month since we got our boy from Second Chance so thought we would give you a quick update! He has settled in really well, loves his walks and we are starting to really see his true personality coming out! He was brilliant at the vets, who said he was a lovely boy, we're on track to getting him to his ideal weight with just 2kg to go. He gets on really well with Marley who often visits, I love the picture below which was taken just a week after we brought him home. Amy is besotted with him as I think he is with her, he's never far from her side, bless. I hope you are both well.

Love Dawn, Mike, Amy & Cooper xx
